I am just starting the detox diet today. I read somewhere that a good caffiene substitute is herbal tea. I went to the bulk section in the healthfood store,and made a concoction of nettle, peppermint, chamomile, and cinnamon bark. Absolutely no sugar or caffiene. Is this okay to drink during this phase?
All herbal teas are fine with the diet and cleanse. I drink a chamomile, mint, and lemon tea that is my caffeine substitute and it helps with my digestion. Chamomile tea is also antifungal, so I would only be concerned with how much die-off it causes.
