I have just started on the candida diet but I am a little worried because I am very active. I work as a sports instructor and cycle and walk a lot. On average I might excersise 15 to 20 hours a week. Some weeks I might even do 4 hours of intense training in a day. Now any mainstream fysician would advise to eat plenty of carbs to restore the muscles. What would you suggest? Thanks for your help.
I personally would suggest not working out nearly as much when first recovering from candida overgrowth. The single most important thing you need while recovering is plenty of rest; you need your immune system to work at its best to get anywhere with the diet.
