I have candida and leaky gut. My naturopath told me to start taking L-Glutamine for the leaky gut. Does L-Glutamine feed candida? Some people claim that it actually feeds candida.

As far as I know it doesn’t feed candida and I wouldn’t worry about it. One thing L-glutamine helps do is break down gluten and dairy so that it isn’t as harmful and is digested properly, so via this process it makes it so the yeast doesn’t feed on it as much as compared to not taking it.
