    Has anyone taken diflucan throughout the treatment? is it beneficial? harmful?

    I’ve taken Diflucan for two weeks 50 mg/d, these were the first two weeks of another, less restrictive Candida diet based on potatoes. My symptoms improved a lot after taking Diflucan, however when I stopped taking it, which was paralleled by the diet allowing to reintroduce certain grains, my fatigue got worse again. I wouldn’t take it anymore because Diflucan can really harm the liver, and can in some (very rare) cases even cause irreparable liver failure, and as I have learnt in the meantime there are plenty of powerful antifungals which are less harmful, such as the ones suggested in this forum.
