Hello everyone,
I want to start the candida diet and so starting by the Detox Phase, however, I have several allergies/intolerances that makes it complicated…
I cannot eat lemons/limes/oranges and other citrus type fruit, and I cannot eat eggs. All these provoke severe reactions (non life threatening) meaning I cannot consume them, even in small quantities (one tea spoon of lemon juice in one liter of water is enough to provoke a reaction…).
My question is: I’m supposed to drink the Detox Drink 3 times a day, which contains lemon, and in which lemon seems to be quite an important ingredient, so with what can I replace lemon that is not citrus, or can I just cut it from the Detox Drink?
Same thing for the eggs: If I start to feel weak, is there another good source of protein I can take?
Thank you for your help 🙂
I don’t think it’s a big deal if you cut out the lemon.
For protein, if you can’t eat eggs then I would use some combination of beans and nuts instead.
