Quick question about coconut oil. Is caprylic acid naturally occurring in it or can there be some varieties without?

I ask because my coconut oil doesn’t list caprylic acid on its contents but does include everything else i.e. lauric acid. All my other jars have listed caprylic acid on so I was wondering if this is just something the manufacturers left off or if there really isn’t any or much caprylic acid in the oil?

    Hello, Katie.

Caprylic acid is one of the several fatty acids that are naturally found in coconut oil. I’ve never heard of a variety without it.
