I think the issue is more that carbonated water is acidic and doesn’t contribute to oxygenating the body, which can benefit candida, moreso than actually feeding it. Also, carbonated drinks in plastic bottles are full of BPA and other terrible things. I occasionally have had a Perrier (from a glass bottle) when PMSing to kill soda cravings (which is seemingly my uterus’s way of warning me that my period is coming), and I didn’t feel any different after any of them, but I wouldn’t make it a habit.
