I’m a vegetarian and have an extreme case of candida. I have been working with the diet concepts for several months. I have limited myself to fresh (not aged at all)cheeses, mostly goat. I have read many opinions about not eating any cheese (dairy in general) because of the natural sugar content. I would rather not let go of cheese.
Also, I have read that stone ground corn tortillas are okay but I’m worried about corn in general because of all it’s sugar.
    Anyone have more to add?

Check out the allowed foods list:

Corn is not on the list because it feeds candida. Since cheese is an iffy one, its not on the list either.

Alternatives protein sources to cheese for protein include greek yogurt, kefir, eggs, and teff to name a few.
