Depending what stage you are at you could try a small amount of roasted buckwheat with coconut milk or yogurt, you could just have yogurt with stevia & cinnamon, or as a variation you could make a coconut flour pancake. Here is my recipe:

    4 full eggs
    1 teaspoon of stevia
    25-30g of coconut flour
    1 teaspoon of coconut oil.

I eat oat bran and cream of buckwheat throughout the week with some stevia; I rotate between them and eat some eggs, pumpkin pie muffin bread, and greek yogurt for breakfast. Give it a try!

how are you with goats or sheep’s milk?

I make raw goats milk kefir & also eat sheeps or goats milk yogurt.

You can buy roasted buckwheat from decent health food shops. I know a few round my end (SW London), but its prob cheaper to order online from someone like healthy supplies.

As a general rule I wouldn’t eat a high carb breakfast, so finding alternatives with eggs, or even having an avocado salad for breakfast would be far better.

Avocado’s are a great addition to a morning/protein shake, they thicken it & give you lots of sustained energy due to the good fat content. I used to blend avocado, whey protein, banana, double cream, stevia & water before I had to treat myself for this. Obviously there are ingredients you can’t use there, but experiment a bit, it generally taste good with stevia.

I eat oat bran with cinnamon every day. It’s quite tasty, although it can cause bloating. Besides omelettes, it’s the only thing my digestive system will tolerate right now.

You can add dessicated coconut to yogurt; makes it crunchy!

I make buckwheat pancakes by mixing buckwheat flour and cocnut flour.

You can also buy teff grains and make “hot cereal” from them.
