this site says that only sockeye salmon, sardines, and anchovies are allowed in step 1 of the candida diet, but this doesn’t make sense since other fishes such as talapia are far more safe to eat than sockeye salmon.
does anyone know any more about this? and if you agree with me do you know what other fishes are OK in stage 1?
Your best choice for fish throughout the treatment are younger fish such as sardines and herring, as well as wild salmon since these are all less likely to contain large amounts of mercury. And the fish really should be organic and come from wild Alaskan or British Columbia fisheries, and they should be certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council. The means they would have the MSC logo on the packages. Vital Choice online has this type available.
