Calcium can come from many sources, but none of it can be processed by the body or absorbed without magnesium. Research suggests that calcium not be taken without magnesium. I don’t know about zinc, but all three are in and have always been in the supplement I’ve taken for probably 15 years. No problems here and I have them lab-checked yearly as far deficiencies are concerned.
The thyroid information is correct; if you take thyroid meds, you should take it several hours before or after calcium. Too much fiber in the body at one time can also mess with thyroid meds.
