If you want to help your immune system, checking your vitamin D and thyroid status is a good starting point. Lots of people are deficient in vitamin D and iodine. Selenium is another common one. All three are vital for immune function, and are probably in short supply during a chronic infection. Don’t forget the vitamin C and glutathione (NAC is cheap source) either. Moderate exercise and a good amount of sleep can boost immunity too.
