Most candida diets tell you to stay away from it.
I have it 2-3 times a week, but mine is mixed with garlic,parsley,cherry tomatoes,celery,and lemon.
I will get a reaction from something within 15 minutes if its going to affect me negatively and quinoa doesnt give me a bad reaction either 🙂
Its super high in carbs, fat,vitamins, and protein, so its a nutrient-dense food.
I would encourage anyone who doesnt do alot of leafy-greens or veggies to eat it, since it contains high amounts of copper…which can balance candida positively if you have enough of it. If you are deficient or copper-toxic, you can encourage overgrowth.
