Thank you so much for your replies. I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Having a 4 year old keeps me pretty busy!

You asked for a list of the supplements I am taking:
Solaray- Cal?mag Citrate w/ 1000 IU Vitamin D3 2 with each meal
Nordic Naturals- Omega Woman Evening Primrose Oil Blend 2 daily
KAL- Zinc 15+ Chelated 1 daily
Solaray – L-Lysine 500mg 1 daily
KAL- C 500mg Buffered I take anywhere from 2 to 6 tablets a day. Usually 4
Rainbow Light Women’s One- 1 daily
Jarrow Formulas- Jarrow-zymes Vegetarian Plus Acid stable microbial enzymes- 1 capsule with each meal.
Nature Made Odor Control garlic pill 500mg 1 daily.
I also take a probiotic…I think it is called Mega Flora or something like that..50 billion critical care formula. I take one a day.
I also take Carlson Super D Omega 3- 1 tsp daily.
I also take Same-E- 6 tablets a day for my depression.
GFSE- I am up to only 4 drops a day….the die off is outrageous if I go higher. I just can’t be incapacitated like that while caring for a small child. The dizziness makes driving impossible and I have to be able to drive. Not an option to up more than a drop a week for me anyways.

When I am feeling ill, I take Gaia Black Elderberry capsules 2x’s daily.

I am allergic to caffeine, so I don’t drink or eat anything that has it. I have eaten no rice or any grains knowingly, since I started the diet. Nor have I had any dairy.

The woman who tested me said I had a wheat and gluten sensitivity, that is why she advised, no grains, gluten or wheat.

The problem with eating all the protein…is that the vegetables just don’t do it for me. I am starving an hour later. I have sat down an eaten pounds of green beans or broccoli or asparagus or brussel sprouts and I get full and then I am hungry again. Protein is the only thing that gets me from one meal to the next. I have a little one, and I am on the go a lot. I often don’t have time to sit down and eat a full meal. I have to grab and go. That is the most frustrating part of this whole diet. The absolute inability of convenience. I can’t just make a sandwich and go. I can’t just eat a protein bar or an apple and call that a snack. It is infuriating. Walking around with a tupperware full of cooked fish or a can of sardines in my purse sucks ass. Yes, I know, having candida sucks way worse, but honestly, it gets old. I long for the day that I can slice up an apple with some almond butter. and eat with my little one. I have to prepare her meal and then mine. I rarely get to eat with her anymore, since I have to cook my food separately…she is done before I even sit down.

I was super excited to try the coconut bread. I made it, and while is was not the tastiest thing I ever ate, it was awesome to have something “breadlike” in texture. I but some coconut butter on it and it was good. I ate a few slices. My tummy started gurgling and I got a little bit of a stomach ache. Then the next day I had raging diarrhea…for two straight days. It was like I had finally found something I could snack on or eat on the go and it just made me feel awful. The stomach thing was actually tolerable..the diarrhea not so much.

Since I can’t have eggs..apparently, the coconut bread experiment was a bust. The last time I had eaten eggs before that was maybe 5 weeks prior when my hubby tried to make me an egg white omelet. They were not organic..they are from a dairy here locally that claim they are not certified organic but they do everything the way an organic farmer would…without the organic part : ) Perhaps if we tried organic eggs that might be a difference? My father in law was mentioning that this weekend that he used to have issues with eggs until he started eating organic ones. What do you guys think? I am guessing no pumpkin muffins either. I was curious about the almond meal…I thought we weren’t supposed to have nuts?

Here is what I eat typically…

Spinach and lettuce salad with avocado, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and salmon or chicken. Sometimes nothing, because I have none cooked.

Usually protein chicken, turkey or salmon ( sometimes shrimp if I have it or tuna fish) with a ton of veg. Usually brussel sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, green beans, cauliflower, turnips, zucchini, kale or the like. I often eat chicken sausage, but I find it hard to find any that don’t have sugar. I found one, but it has bell peppers, which make me gassy and belchy and generally feel yukky. But I eat them, because sometimes it is all there is. Usually the meat is not organic. We are on a pretty limited budget since I am not working and we live paycheck to paycheck. We try, but often fall way short of that mark.

I only cook with olive oil or coconut oil. I drink only water and sometimes some lemon. I do drink tea, plain. I have either peppermint or chammomile. Sometimes I have echineacea tea if I am feeling under the weather or Tension Tamer by Celestial Seasonings if I am having a crazy day.

I know there was a suggestion to try oat bran, but I wonder if that is a good idea for me?

I know there was a suggestion for greek yogurt too, but before I started the diet I would eat dairy, but have to take a Lactaid in order to deal with the symptoms of eating dairy. Is that something I should try right now?

I didn’t purchase a B6 supplement because my multivitamin already has it…was wondering if that was too much.

I did have stevia ( it was Sweetleaf Vanilla Creme the liquid kind) and the vaginal yeast came back. I think I mentioned that already…I stopped using it, and it went away. It is back now, but I have been supposed to start my period for two weeks now with nothing but some spotting but plenty of itching and some yeasty stuff. WTF? Who do I need to see to fix this? I know you mentioned the alkalized do I make it not that way? Because it is so frustrating to work so hard and then still have it happen anyway. especially at Thanksgiving with all of the pies and sweet potatoes and gravy and ….ugh. It was absolute torture to sit there eating my grilled chicken ( which was delicious….)and brussel sprouts and mashed turnips and see all of the food I couldn’t eat. I had to go outside and cry for a minute when desserts were served with fresh whipped cream. The whole time I was thinking how much it sucked but how much better off I would be, but then I still have the itching and the period that doesn’t want to come.

I have lost close to 25 pounds. It is starting to worry me. I have gone from a size 14 to almost an 8. I mean, it is great to be so skinny, but I am worried about how healthy it is for me to lose that much weight in such a short time. I needed to lose the weight, but people are starting to make comments and get that worried look on their faces like I am an anorexic or something.

I am feeling better, but it is a slow process.

Is there a reason we can’t eat leftovers? Often my husband will make a large batch of something for me to eat…like turkey meatballs or grill a ton of chicken or wings for me. Granted they only last a few days, but is that bad?

I have been eating a ton of veg since Thanksgiving and have had crazy diarrhea for days….is this die off or just too much fiber?

Ok, I think I have gone on long enough…my little one is standing in front of the computer and blocking my view….
