I say screw all these special diets unless you have to do it like candida but if u want to just live a clean healthy life then u should make your own. For someone who had candida I would think a paleo would not be good because of the massive meat and fruit consumption. I would draw from paleo and the candida diet and make my own such as eating Greek yogurt, kefir and oatbran but still avoiding the crappy carbs like bread and pasta. Every individual is different and has different needs. Paleo might be a good idea to prevent disease but if you had candida or leaky gut I would not be so quick to stock up on fruits and red meat. Try to incorporate things depending on your needs. Just my opinion.
