Sorry if this thread got a bit “diverted”! Haaaa!! Man, she was only asking about apples!!!! 😉
But I am corrected, I guess Granny Smith green apples are in the second stage. So, I guess when you get there you can try it?! Hey, maybe I’ll try it too, wouldn’t that be a nice treat?!! 🙂
Anyways, whatever with Jorge, he can say what he wants to! 🙂
I hope you have a great weekend! 🙂
Thanks Faith, I hope your weekend was nice too 🙂 I am still in the first stage of the diet, so I think I am going to wait a couple more months before I introduce green apples. I live in Florida and it’s been soooo HOT. I am dying for a nice piece of refreshing fruit (I LOVE fruit. This has been harder for me to give up even more than bread and sweets!) but I will stick it out in the name of good health.
For anyone interested, apples of any type shouldn’t be consumed on the first stage of the diet, however, Granny Smith apples are acceptable during the second stage.
These apples were the second food item I introduced during the second phase of the diet, and I ate them almost every day. I still eat them occasionally, and I’m still symptom-free.
Able, how did you know when to move on to stage 2? I know I’m definitely still in stage one, but are there specific signs that let you know its ok? Thanks
