I’m sure most people would advise you to steer clear of dosa because it is fermented (by yeast and other cultures, that’s what makes the batter rise), and is made from brown rice and lentils (which both feed candida considerably and should be avoided at least during the first stages of the diet). That said, I had dosa a few weeks ago without feeling any sort of bad reaction. I felt slightly guilty about it, but at least the rice and lentils are soaked beforehand. I am also pretty far along in the diet, starting to reintroduce more carbohydrate-rich foods. If you are going to eat it, you should probably set a limit for yourself so you don’t overindulge.
