Or, are there any other tests that could test for these toxins?
I will bring that up to my doc on my next visit, as well as the anti fungal you mentioned.
I will help you.
There are tests that are definitive to diagnose CRC but probably no useful in your particular case. I assume you have an overgrowth of yeast unicells since they showed high in the CDSA.
Yeast unicells are toxic makers but are extracellular organisms meaning they don’t cause gastrointestinal symptoms. People who have extracellular yeast overgrowth in the intestines don’t have gastrointestinal symptoms. They have remote organs symptoms caused by the amount of yeast metabolites these unicells release. Since you don’t have gastrointestinal complain, Drs never associate your neuroendocrine symptoms with yeast living inside your intestines. However, the metabolic wastes these colonies generate are responsible for your symptoms.
There are two form of intestinal yeast overgrowth, the extracellular form and the extra/ intracellular form.
Again, I assume you don’t have the extra/intracellular form.
I hope this help you. If you have any question, feel free to ask me. I am able to explain it better if you need it.
