I thought since it (rice) was gluten free that it wouldnt feed the candida.
The problem with brown rice is not gluten but rather the fact that it’s a starch which turns into sugar once it’s being broken down by digestion. On the other hand, the problem with fruit is fructose which the Candida love and can survive on indefinitely. You were literally
‘rebuilding’ the Candida infestation with both of these.
Should i continue with the coconut bread as my carb source?
Stick with coconut bread which you can mix half and half with Bob’s Red Mill Oat Bran for more nutritional benefits. Amazon also sells this.
I’ll also stop the berries. I was only getting about 25 grams of sugar per day from them but obviously that was too much for my body to handle also.
Personally, I don’t think you should try any fruit other than avocados until you’ve been completely symptom-free for quite a while, and this includes the immune system and adrenals being in top shape.
