I’ve emailed Able to get the diet and I plan to start in a few weeks. I am not sure if I have candida or just a severe hormone disorder that has some overlap in symptoms. I wanted to see if there was anyone else on here who was maybe diagnosed with PMDD too and, if so, if there were any things you found helpful with the candida diet/lifestyle that could maybe relate to this disease. My doctors have always encouraged me to have enough carbs since the hormones have caused me to have fainting episodes in the past (one time in front of a bus on a main city street where I had to be taken by ambulance to a hospital; another time I broke three ribs, another time I got a concussion). I really want to make sure that I follow the suggested protocol on here to see if this regime helps but I also want be aware of the fainting problem and to try to make sure I prevent this from occurring again, esp at work. Several of the fainting episodes happened when I was following Biamonte’s program (did anyone else do this? Thoughts?) but I never gave up goat dairy/gluten or corn completely while on that diet for six months so that may be why I never fully recovered from candida if that is what I have. Thanks in advance for any feedback about this. And thanks to Able for his private help too.
Many of us don’t know for sure that we have this Candida problem for sure when we start as the testing is not 100% accurate. Hormone problems are one of the dozens of side effects caused from this beast.
Regarding your carbs question, the diet is a low sugar diet. All vegetables have some carbs in them, so you can’t avoid all carbohydrates.
