The rash (actually all over, but worst on my right arm and back) is what spurred the candida diet, which I’ve been on for 3 weeks now. The first 2 1/2 of those it very, very slowly improved a little bit. Then I cut out rice and sweet pepper, not realizing before that it was a starch. That was probably 4 or 5 days ago, and it’s improved considerably but now oozes all day.
I normally have either an omlette (eggs, onion, asparagus, mushrooms, nutritional yeast, himalayan salt, coconut milk) or candida pancakes (buckwheat flour/oats/amaranth, coconut oil, flax seed, small amount of berries, eggs, coconut milk, almonds, xylitol, salt, and maple syrup for dipping) for breakfast.
Lunch is a salad with any of these ingredients: Spring mix, spinach, romaine, kelp, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, olive oil, olives, coconut oil, lemon juice, lime juice, ACV, ginger, sesame seeds, cucumber, pecans, almonds
Dinner varies, but it always follows the diet. No wheat, gluten, sugar, carrots, sweet pepper…
Snacks are either another salad, half a grapefruit, or trail mix (nuts and seeds, nothing on them)
I muscle test everything to make sure it won’t react. Some things like rice and sweet peppers are a very definite no, while syrup is okay. I have not noticed any reaction from the syrup or the berries. That’s how I figured out the sweet peppers were a problem, becuase I got very itchy a few hours after eating it.
I’m having a very difficult time finding things to eat now.
