I’d also focus on your digestion because if the food is fermenting in the gut then you will never be able to defeat candida.
What would happen if you crapped in your toilet everyday throughout the week and didn’t flush it? This is what is happening to your body…
That sounds absolutely disgusting but thanks for the tip. Do you think doing a colon cleanse now will help me increase the number of bowel movements or do you think taking some Betaine HCL to help with digestion is enough?
thanks for the reply…i guess i better get used to this boring meal since it looks like i’ll be eating the same thing for quite a while. I’m losing too much weight, was hoping the candida might have lessened and I could have a protein shake and some carbs and get back into shape.
My question is, How can I tell if the candida is gone and I can start eating carbs again because I am losing too much weight. There is still a white coating on my tongue although there is less than before. I’ve read from some forums and websites that anything less than 3 bowel movements a day is still considered constipation and not candida free. The weirdest thing is that my bowel movements have lessened since I began this diet (maybe two or three times a week) and my poop is dark green almost black, resembles thick toxic sludge but not watery and definitely not hard and “fibrous” despite the amount of fibre in my diet.
I still occasionally get random itches and skin rashes but they go away soon. Perhaps thats a sign of a slightly leaky gut. As well, will taking betaine hcl help me with digestion and prevent this?
How clear is your skin? I think the random itches and quick-to-fade skin rashes are symptoms of die-off. The white coating on tongue still indicates you still have a candida overgrowth — this will only subside once the numbers of candida are depleted from body. Do you do any oil pulling with coconut oil? This helps, but will probably come back until internal numbers are reduced.
I am not so sure re: 3 bowel movements per day indicating you are candida-free. Before I took antibiotics and realized I was suffering from CRC, I still did not have 3 per day. 1-2 per day, I believe, is a preferred norm. Every body is different with different digestive tracts, though.
When I started diet close to 2 months ago, I was the same as you — green/dark and soft BMs with no real solidity or consistency. This has improved greatly once I upped my antifungal/probiotic routine with DDS-1 (I now take Innate Response 50-14 Flora). I also take Betaine HCL and notice an improvement since taking it with bloating and digestion. Are you taking Swedish Bitters at all?
I don’t do any oil pulling at all, didnt even know what it was until now when I searched it up. I use coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil for cooking if it matters. Anyways, so I shouldn’t be too worried that my bowel movements seemed to have slowed down more since this diet? I dont feel any worse but it just doesnt seem to make sense having such soft bowel movements when I have so much more fibre in my diet.
As for anti fungal and probiotics, I dont take any supplements for it. For anti fungal, I eat 4 – 6 cloves of raw garlic, half to 1 raw onion and 6 freshly squeezed pure lemons (split morn/night) a day. This supposedly also kills parasites as well but I dont feel a difference on that either. For probiotics I take a few tablespoons of this nasty greek yogurt I get from the supermarket a day but I just bought some kimchi to replace it starting tomorrow after reading how it is good for candida.
My skin has gotten much better since the diet, there are just a few small ones almost none on my face and most are cystic acne on jawline/neck which I can’t seem to get rid of. Hoping Betaine HCL might help with that.
