I was taking 2 SF722 capsules at one time, 3 times a day (6 capsules total daily). I’ll decrease that amount to 1 a day and see if that helps. I’ll try to find some cod liver oil today to help with the inflammation as well.
I’ve been taking hot baths with Epsom salt and apple cider vinegar, but I obviously need to do it more often. Thank you all for your suggestions.
Besides cooking with coconut oil I’m not taking any antifungals. I tried eating the coconut oil straight and that caused major die off so I don’t think I’m ready for more antifungals yet.
I’m taking 2 capsules of SF277 three times a day.
There isn’t a dry sauna near where I live, would an infrared sauna work?
I’ll look into the functional food powder, thanks for the suggestion. I’m assuming to just get the plain flavor correct? Does anybody else us a powder like this?
Thanks alexalgebra, that soup looks amazing! I’m allergic to green beans, what do you suggest to use instead?
Thanks shayfo for the help! I left it out an extra day close to the heating vent and tried it last night. It was amazing! I’ve never had kefir before and was nervous because I didn’t know what it would taste like. My batch came out rather thick, kinda like greek yogurt consistency. I had a few bites last night and a few this morning and felt fine after. You think it would be ok to have more since I didn’t react? It’s so good I want to have more!
Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I’ve noticed I have a hard time when I eat raw veggies, especially broccoli/cauliflower. I started taking betaine hydrochloride before every meal (even small snacks) and that has helped a lot with the stomach aches! I make sure I chew my food as much as possible and that has made a big difference too.
I’m still having other die-off symptoms and I’m a bit worried because I haven’t introduced anti-fungals yet.
I ordered alcohol free Swedish Bitters online but they won’t get here for another week. Anybody have any advice on something else to help with the bloating? Does magnesium help? No matter what I eat, I get really bloated. The constipation has gotten a little better with the addition of oat bran and coconut bread. Thanks again in advance to anyone who can help!
Thanks Mooch. Should I order anything else? Right now I’m taking Molybdenum, Vitamin C, Milk Thistle, and Sacch Boullardi (already been taking it for months). Like I said, we live in a rural area and it is not easy to find most supplements. Thanks again for the advice.
I just got some Swedish Bitters but after getting home, realized that they contain alcohol. Should I not take them? We live in a rural area and the health food store only had this option: Natureworks Swedish Digestive Bitters.
Thanks Able. I’m taking 250 mcg of MAAC 3 times a day. I don’t have Swedish Bitters but I will go to the store and get some today.
Thank you for the suggestions Keya! I just read Able’s stricter diet again and it looks like I’ll have to wait 2 weeks to have chicken/kefir/buckwheat/coconut flour/etc, unless I’m totally reading it wrong! You’re suggestions look great for after those two weeks, but what did you eat early in Stage 1. It looks like all I can have are certain veggies and eggs.April 15, 2013 at 11:35 pm in reply to: Been on strict diet, slipped and had some sugar. Now having horrible stomach aches. #102892
Thanks hope4eva77 and alexalgebra for your suggestions. alexalgebra I have a hard time staying away from fruit since my diet is so restricted and there isn’t much else for me to eat. I’ve already lost 5 lbs on this diet and can’t afford to lose any more weight. What is the protocol you are referring to? I can’t seem to find it.April 15, 2013 at 7:35 pm in reply to: Been on strict diet, slipped and had some sugar. Now having horrible stomach aches. #102879
Also, a bit of my history if anybody would like to offer some help. My doctor hasn’t really given much advice on how to get rid of the candida. She just told me to stop eating sugar, fatty foods, and chocolate.
Before I knew I had candida I thought my issues were food allergy related so I got an allergy test done. It came back I am allergic to the following:
I’ve been strictly off all of the above foods for almost 3 months now and I’m not feeling any better. I’ve also decided not to eat meat after watching a documentary about being vegan (not suggested if you like meat!)
My diet consists of rice, fruits and vegetables. I just started taking a garlic supplement and having a few tablespoons of coconut oil throughout the day.
I’m new to forums and not really sure how this all works but I thought I’d try to reach out for some help.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer some advice!
