    Hi Sleepy,
How are thing going for you? I hope you are getting better. I have not posted in a few days because I was getting so frustrated with this candida fight. No matter what I’ve tried…relief seems miles away. On a daily basis I’m still taking a probiotic, garlic, SF722, drink at least a 1/2 gallon of water, drink green tea and really watch what I eat. I would be lying if I said that I completely eliminated all kinds of sugar in the past 2 weeks. The longest I made it completely sugar/caffiene free was 4 days and on day 4 I was so dizzy it was difficult to walk and I noticed that my anxiety was out of control.

Our bodies REQUIRE some sugar/fructose on a daily basis to function properly so I have started using Truvia/Stevia on my plain yogurt, oatmeal and other items. You will see I started another thread about something called “oil pulling.” A lady at a local health food store told me about this after I informed her I was fighting candida. She told me to take a teaspoon of extra virgin coconut oil and swish it around in my mouth for 15 minutes up to 3 times a day. I thought she had lost her mind and had taken one to many acid trips.

THIS WORKS! At least I have seen some results. I started this “oil pulling” 9 days ago and when I first started I had horrible sinus problems. My sinusus would throb so badly that I could feel it in the top rows of my teeth. My gums were so swollen and sore that it hurt to touch them and all I could eat were things like scrambled eggs. I was in missery.

I can honestly say that today my sinus problem has improved 80%. I do still have one area of my gums that seem to be giving me a real fight but I am much better than I was 2 weeks ago. Also…do you find that your symptoms worsen with cold weather? Mine sure do. Once the temperature begins to drop and the air becomes very dry…I SUFFER!

Lets stay in touch and keep each other motivated.

NEVER SWOLLOW the oil after swooshing! The reason is after the oil has been in your mouth it is full of toxins and if you swollow all those toxins go right back into your system. I’ve been oil pulling with virgin coconut oil for 5 days and when I started I had severe sinusitus. I had it so bad that the top row of teeth on both sides of my mouth hurt so bad I could not eat anything except scrambled eggs or something very soft. My gums were so sore it was painful to touch them.

As of today…my gums are not as swollen, my sinuses are not throbbing like they used to, I can breathe a little better at night, I am not able to eat foods that are harder and my allergies seem to be getting better.

The jury is still out on this “oil pulling” thing but I’m willing to try anything.

No sugar or caffiene AT ALL in the past 3 days and I really feel like crap. Even with my diet being 95% sugar free I was not getting any relief at all from taking suppliments. Threelac, SF722, ACV, Garlic and Fungal Defense seemed to do nothing except empty my wallet. I must say that in the beginning Fungal Defense seemed to do a little but I cant be sure. As for the other products I’m sure that they may work but I would bet a Zillion dollars that that a person suffering from Systemic Candida will not benefit at all. I am now convinced that if you suffer from a systemic infection your best bet is a true sugar/gluten/caffiene free diet.

Today I feel quite strange. Dizzy, sweating, headache, sinus congestion, mental fog, a small rash on my chest, a toenail fungus has arrived and small black spots in my vision. My eyes are still red and very irratated but I’m certain this is from allergies. For the past 2 weeks my allergies have been off the charts…the worst in my life. The insomnai has been CRAZY! Last night I took a whole Ambien and was only able to sleep 3 hours. I cant begin to tell you how tired I am.

I’m actually upset with myself for waiting so long to go completely sugar free. I have been reading all about Threelac and claims that you can maintain your regular diet while taking Threelac and this stuff will work…NOT FOR ME and I’m sure not for anyone with a systemic infection! I am not trying to single out Threelac…it’s just I am now realizing that some of their claims seem too good to be true.

Take it from someone who has been fighting this candida problem for quite some time. Be carefull when purchasing anything on the internet claiming to cure candida. I’ve have actually spent thousands of dollars on so called “cures” all of which have done NOTHING for me. The one item that I do think helped me to some degree was a product called Fungal Defense. After two days I certainly felt the die-off symptoms so I knew it was working. The problem with most of these “cures” are they will not compeltely rid you of this fungus.

A combination of suppliments and diet is what will eventually cure you. ABSOLUTELY no sugar, yeast or gluten foods for at least 30 days. A small price to pay in order to regain your health. For me…today is day 2 of NO SUGAR and I can certainly feel the difference. The brain fog is starting to lift to a small degree but I do have all the other problems.

The candida diet is very plain and boring but if you can muster the will power this will save you a lot of money. Run away from any products that claim you can maintain your original diet while taking their “cure.” IT WONT WORK! Good luck to you.

4 weeks and one day. My allergies are absolutely out of control. I’ve always had some kind of seasonal allergies to deal with all my life but never like this. I cant stop sneezing, all kinds of head conjestion, both sinus cavaties are plugged, eyes are puffy/red/irritated. HOLY SH#!…when does this end??? People should not have to suffer like this. I’ve lost 12lbs, my face looks so thin, my clothes are baggy, cant sleep and my fits of anger are becoming more frequent..and I do mean rage.

I’m mad at God, doctors and food makers. I am especially angry at people, or companies, that are out there praying on those of us suffering from this problem by selling snake oil with all kinds of crazy claims of healing. THe only thing that is keeping me from completely freaking out is I have read several articles claiming issues like depression/anxiety can worsen while on a candida diet.

I have noticed that my problems worsen during cold weather and we are just now beginning Winter…which makes me more angry. If I ever hit the lottery I’m moving my skinny white ass to Jamaica.

    Still givin it the finger!

Any kind of sugar is bad if you have candida but if I had to choose between candida and a migraine I would take the pill to get rid of the headache. The good news is since you are starting the diet you might see your headaches dissappear since migraines/headaches are a symptom of candida. If your tablets are coverd with some kind of sugar I would not sweat it too much as I’m sure the amount of sugar is quite small. You can also call the manufacturer and see if they can tell you all the ingrediants in the tablet. Good luck.

I’m now right at Week 4 in this battle to eliminate Candida. I have not done well on the diet..basically due to my lack of will power when friends and family bring over Christmas goodies. I’ve kept up on my suppliments as a way of making myself feel better about my efforts. One thing that has absolutely gone CRAZY these past 2 weeks are my allergies and its not even allergy season here in Oklahoma. It’s December and people with seasonal allergies are supposed to be getting a break this time of year.

Every morning I wake up I feel like I have a cold. Sneezing, runny nose, cough, puffy/red/irritated eyes and plugged sinuses. I’m just hoping these are some kind of candida die off symptoms that will eventually go away. I can take Benadryl or Claritin D with absolutely no help at all. This Sucks!

YES, YES AND YES!! I suffered with this particular issue for years and never understood what was causing it. Doctor after doctor just sent me on my way with antibiotics which was making the issue worse. Finally after days of searching the web I finally ran across something called Candida.

After much effort and pain I can say the itching has improved 90%..I still have a few flare ups occassionally. Sugar is our biggest enemy right now and anything you can do to eliminate sugar from your diet will only help. I dont want to scare you but this will be difficult depending on how ADDICTED you are to sugar. To me…sugar is like crack cocaine.

A few things you might try that has helped me is Fungal Defense by Garden of Life. This is a good anti-fungal tablet that I have experienced some benefits with. Also…Garlic tablets has done me some good as well. There are littlerally THOUSANDS of products out there claming that they will eliminate candida but you have to be careful. You even have to be careful when consulting with a naturopath as they will also have elixers/potions/cures that they will sell you as well.

My best advice is to totally cut out all sugar in EVERY FORM! Bread, cake, soda, pasta, all vinegars, white rice and fruit. Drink at least a 1/2 gallon of water per day and take a good Multi B vitamin. Sometimes people with advanced Candida can lose lots of B12 and need to suppliment to get them back to normal levels. Good luck with you fight.

I know exactly how you feel about doctors. I cant tell you how many doctors I’ve visited with and how frustrated I’ve been with them at their inability to correctly diagnose me or treat me. It is truly amazing at how uninformed doctors are about candida and how uncaring some doctors can be to our suffering. Two years ago I was also on two different anti-depressants or anti anxiety meds and was unable to take them due to the severe side effects. When I would go back to the doctor and tell her about my side effects all she would say is “those are not side effects of Cymbalta” then prescribe me a different med. IT WAS HORRIBLE!

Equally amazing is how many foods contain added sugar. I never imagined that I would ever be addicted to sugar like this but kicking this addiction is about the same as quitting herion. Just about every waking moment my body craves sugar in some form and my mind can play tricks on me in order to get the next fix. I’ve done pretty good so far in eliminating sugar from my diet but must admit that most days I just unable to compeltely eliminate this white substance.

Cost is a big part of our recovery/healing as well. I’m now over 4 weeks into my program and must admit that my improvement is not what I expected. I have purchased just about every type of product out there claiming it can rid a person of candida but have yet to take a product that lives up to they hype. So far all these products have been able to do for me is to lighten my wallet.

As of today my best advice to you is drink at least a half gallon of water per day. I know you are in Austrailia so I’m not sure what that convesion would be. Also…completely eliminate sugar from your diet. This past APril I was in the hospital for 6 days for an unrelated reason. Day 3 I walked into the bathroom finally and noticed that my eyes were cyrstal clear and not irratated at all, ALL of my body aches and pains had gone away, no anxiety, no depression and I was in a good mood despite being in the hospital. No constipation, all of my body rashes had dissappeared and my appetite had returned full force. All this in just 4 days. Keep in mind that I had absolutely NO SUGAR at all for 4 days which is why I’m almost convinced that all these products claiming they can help you kill the candida is all false.

As several others have mentioned…to completely rid ourselves of this fungus we MUST ELIMINATE all types of sugar. 90-95% is not good enough as you are still giving fuel to the candida. Keep in touch with me and maybe we can do this together and hold each other accountable.

Can’t remember what day this is as they have all run together. As of today I have quit taking Threelac but have continued teh Fungal Defense and Garlic tablet. I have also introduced a product called PH Cleanse which is supposed to bring my PH levels back to a more alkaline state which is over 7.4. If a person’s body has a PH level over 7.4 it is nearly impossible for fungus to survive..this includes all kinds of cancer.

Last night was our company Christmas party and I was not good. The server put the most beautiful piece of Cherry Cheesecake right in front of me. I told her “Why don’t you lay down a line of crack instead?” I then told her my problem and she laughed. Yes…I ate the damn cake and paid dearly for it.

Within 30 minutes every joint in my body hurt like hell. My heart began to pound like it was coming out of my chest and I broke out in a smal rash on my hip. THis stuff is pissing me off. Besides this little setback..I’ve been faithful to the diet.

Still cant sleep but I am beginning to notice that some of the minor aches and pains seem to be diminishing. I have also noticed that ALL of my symptoms become much worse when it gets cold outside and tomorrow is supposed to be only 34 degress with some snow. Good thing I have a few pain pills to take or I would not make it.

    STILL GIVIN IT THE FINGER!

Depends on who you ask and you will find doctors/naturopaths that feel strongly both ways. I began my Candida about 4 weeks ago and started wtih ACV. About 2 weeks in I did not see any type of improvement or benefit. After that I began searching and found several doctors that recommend staying away from ALL types of vinegar…has someting to do with yeast.

Anyway….I’ve quit drinking ACV and have now started taking a product called PH Cleanse in an effort to correct any type of pH imballance I may have. Apple Cider Vinegar is GREAT if you have any type of acid reflux.

Thank you for your kind reply. This is sad to day but…missery sure does love company. Today is day 7 of Threelac and cant really say I’m seeing much improvement but I realize this is probably too early. I have also added in a product called PH Cleanse that I purchase here in OKC at a local health food store.

So here is what I’m dooing as of today:
    One Threelac packet per day.
3 Fungal Defense talblets per day (will up to 4 per day tomorrow)
    Two garlic tablets per day.
10 drops of PH Cleanse twice daily in 8oz of water.

Yesterday I purchased the Jack Lalane SUPER JUICER and started juciing fresh veggies and a few fruits such as green apples and one orange. I must say that this does give me a small burst of energy each morning and I dont crave the sugar as much now.

I do work out each and every morning. I lift weights and focus on a different part of my dody each day. If I dont work out each morning this “foggy brain” thing takes over my life. While I have lost about 11lbs now I must say that my appearance in the mirror is looking pretty good. My muscles are now much more defined and I almost look like one of those guys on a magazine cover without the good looks. 🙂

Breakfast: Two egg omlette with spinich, onions, shirmp or chicken.
One slice of gluten free raisin bread.
    Green tea

The most difficult thing I fight is what to eat. At this point all Im doing with my diet is trying to eliminate all the grains and sugar I can while sticking to fresh fruit like pears or green apples, fresh meat and veggies. I did read that organic dark chocolate in moderation was fine to quite the sugar craving so I will purchase a bar today.

As far as my symptoms go. Still figting the sore/red eyes each morning, sinus congestion, constipation, anger outbursts, now have athletes foot and a few other small areas on my skin now have a rash, crazy insomnia but I do think my “foggy brain” appears to be getting a little better.

I’ll keep “GIVIN IT THE FINGER!”

I’ve modified my approach to my candida fight. I’m now on Day 4 of taking Threelac and not really seeing the results I’d hoped for. The first day I felt great but since then I’ve basically felt like crap. While my diet has not been 100% sugar/yeast free it’s been real close. Right now Im taking one packet of Threelac, 3 Fungal Defense tablets, one gralic tablet and drinking a 1/2 gallon of water per day. I also put fresh lemon in each bottle of water.

Here is what I find confusing. Back in April I wsa in the hospital for 6 days and before I went in I felt just like I do now. Sore/Red eyes, all kinds of allergies to food and chemicles, severe headaches on a daily basis and all kinds of body aches and pains. On day 3 in the hospital I went to the bathroom and noticed that my eyes were crystal clear, not read or irritated and it was at that point I realized my body aches and pains had dissappeared. Now I basically did not eat anything for 2 days so could this be it? I also lost 10lbs…I dont want that to happen now because I dont have 10lbs to lose. I was getting one pain shot a day so I know that really had no effect on my overall feeling.

This is so frustrating. I’m taking the antifungals, drinking water and after 3 weeks I dont feel anywhere closer to healing. Day 4 in the hospital I was amazed at how I looked.

ANyone else here taking Threelac? If so..how long before you noticed any results?

COULD THIS BE!? My day started at 5am and when I woke up I felt horrible with all the usual candida problems. Last night I took a benzo to try and help me sleep and while I did sleep farily well when I woke up my anxiety was through the roof, depression was high, all kinds of joint pain and several other problems.

For the past few days I’ve been debating weather or not to take Threelac and had actually talked myself out of taking any. Around 1pm today I was at my ropes end and just about to give up the fight when I rememberd I had a packet of Threelac in my briefcase. Feeling I had nothing to lose I reluctantly took the Threelac.

It is now 4:45pm CST and I’m feeling GREAT! I can remember the last time I felt like this. My anxiety/depression is gone, I’m in a good mood, VERY HUNGRY, no body aches or joint pain…I feel like I’m ready to take on the world. I feel like I used to 10 years ago.

Being VERY SKEPTICAL about things like this I’m almost affraid to get too excited because I’ve gotten used to dissappointment when it comes to my health. I so hope this is my answer. Over the past several months I’ve tried to get responses from people reguarding Threelac but I’ve never received a response from more than one person. I’m telling everyone here that if Threelac heals/cures me I will shout it from the mountain tops.

I’ve done everything else I could possible do to try and rid myself of this candida. No pop, sugar, bread, cake, fried foods or processed foods of any kind and I’m still suffering.

I wish there were more users on this site and that more people interacted. Keep sending me good vibes.

I just took a 1/2 packet of Threelac and am anxiously waiting to see what happens. The last time I took Threelac I experienced some very strange feelings but I am now at the end of my rope. About 3 weeks into this it seems like I have regressed back to day one. My die-off should have been gone by now and today has been hell.

I have not slept in two weeks so last night I took Temazapam which is a benzo. While I did sleep fairly well last night today I have been extremely anxious, I break out in cold sweats, cant concentrate and the sugar cravings are worse than ever.

I’ve tried everything I know and nothing seems to be helping and to be honest…I’m close to giving up. I understand how die-off works but this is just rediculous. When does it end??? I truly hope Threelac is my answer. Wish me luck.
