And some pimples are coming to the surface which is good.Honestly I feel like my skin has needed a break and to breathe and produce it’s own sebum for SO LONG.That includes not putting anything on it,like vitamin E,taking a break from supplements, just letting my skin be it’s skin and heal on it’s own.Everyone should try this! plus I got rained on while running today and that felt amazing,my skin loved the natural cool water cleansing it.Y’all should try this!
Great! Yea my face was really oily. I wanted to wash it with clearasil like every four hours. Now my face doesn’t get oily anymore because basically my skin has “learned” that it doesn’t need to produce more oil to make up for the oil that has been striped off by products.
As for my experiences I gave up with products and just live the way our ancestors did. I didn’t want to worry about putting stuff on my face for the rest of my life. So about eight months ago I just let it be. Greatest choice of my life. I can tell it is still healing some like my nose, but like I said I used a variety of prescription products and washing it with chemicals a couple times a day so It will probably take maybe another six months before it looks perfect.August 6, 2012 at 2:06 pm in reply to: Seborrheic Dermatitis, Psoriasis, Eczema, or any rash Thread (Who has it lets hear your story) #88403
I’ve had sd, and acne for during all of high-school. Then realized that I was doing too much (washing it several times a day, using prescription creams, etc.). Then I made the best decision of my life, and that was not washing it with anything but water.
It got worse before it got better of course, had kind of bad acne for around two months, then stuff started clearing up. Now after around eight months I have a little sd on the side of my nose that I expect to clear up soon (I took the caveman regiman approach and I actually stuck with it this time). You get a dead skin mask, and the skin beneath it actually heals itself. Kind of like a protective scab. Now there are some scabs on the side of my nose that are slowly coming off with normal colored skin underneath.
Weird thing is that I still get cyst acne because of candida. The only way I don’t is if I continue taking probiotics everyday. Hopefully I can fix this after a while and get rid of the yeast, fill up my gut with good bacteria an be free of all supplements. 🙂
Thanks for the advice. I’m not going to stick with the cleansing process exactly (I just can’t stick to salad and vegetables). I’m pretty sure cutting out yeast, flour and refined sugar will do it. Anyways I had some pork with vegetables last night, then some more vegetables and a chicken drumstick in the morning like three hours after I woke up. My muscles felt really fatigued and sore, and I had the worst headache ever. I’m pretty sure the yeast must be dieing off. Would molybdenum be the best thing for the headache? And how long do you think this die off effects will last?
Also I went to the store and bought some food today and wasn’t sure if everything was ok. I bought ezekiel bread (ingredients: org sprouted wheat, filtered water, org sprouted barley, org sprouted millet, org malted barley, org sprouted lentils, org sprouted soybeans, org sprouted spelt, fresh yeast, org wheat gluten, sea salt.) because I heard that was ok from this site http://www.kellysherbs.com/docs/YeastControlDiet.pdf. Also got brown rice (ingredients: wild rice and natural pecan flavoring) and white rice (ingredients: basmati rice). I’m pretty sure the rice is ok just wanted to make sure the bread was since it said yeast and wheat gluten.
Hey I basically cured my acne. First I’ll give you advice on the cyst acne that you seem to have. I have stopped mine by taking ultimate flora probiotics, havn’t had a single cyst in like a month. I believe its just masking the problem but its good for now.
If your getting blackheads and cysts the best advice I can give you is to leave your face alone. It’s called the caveman regimen (google it), cleared my face up from pimples and I had kind of red irritated cheeks and nose from all the products I used in highschool and it cleared that up too. You have to go through a kind of dead skin mask thing but it comes off in a month and you get to have new skin :).
