Hello I was thinking of ordering these two to help with my candida treatment, but before I order I just wanted to check what are you’r opinions on these? Are they worth buying?June 27, 2014 at 7:35 pm #119657
I would only use one at a time and not both at same time. These products will not cure your overgrowth by themselves. Basically you’ll need to take digestive enzymes long term to find any benefit in them, I’ve been on them for about 3 years myself. The main thing they do is help break down the food you eat while slowly eroding the fence candida creates to protect itself.
I take a different digestive enzyme called progest which will support your digestion more than these products because it contains ox bile and some HCL. It also contains some different enzymes.
There are a variety of enzyme products out there with a variety of different prices.

Oh? I thought Progest and Swedish bitters only digested food, and I thought Candex and Biofilm Defence only digested biofilm walls build by candida? I take alcohol free Swedish bitters with every meal to help digest my food and get the nutritions. But these 2 products claim to remove the Biofilm protecting the Candida, that’s why I wanted to buy them to take them 30 minutes before food, then during food take my Betaine HCL and Swedish bitters and Antifungals (sf722, Coconut oil, garlic, ginger).
So would you say that Swedish bitters and Progest also destroy the Biofilm? If so theres no need to buy this, although I only take a drop Swedish Bitters each meal.
And as for curing the overgrowth I hoped it would help breakdown the Biofilm so the antifungals can kill the protected Candida too.
But ofcourse I take alot of other stuff too, like probiotics, vitamins, minerals, fishoil, antifungals, detox supplements, betaine hcl, bitters.June 27, 2014 at 8:21 pm #119659
Ya these won’t destroy them much more than any other digestive enzyme product. I’ll post a link to some good biofilm products soon…just ended my lunch.

Fish Oil, Apo-Lactoferrin, EDTA, Carvacrol ( Oil of Oregano ) and Cis-2 decenoic acid. Fermented foods, prebiotics, probiotics, fatty acids, royal jelly….
So I would consider getting SF722, royal jelly, fermented cod liver oil, and some good prebiotics (or prebiotic food).
