Why can’t one still have a social life and drink vodka or gin with club soda while on a candida diet?

    – High quality vodkas/gins are triple distilled and do not contain yeast or carbohydrates.

    – Alcohol itself does not metabolize into sugar. That is a myth…Google it. (Beers or other drinks with yeast/carbs are a different story)

    – Alcohol actually temporarily lowers blood sugar levels.

I am not saying that alcohol is good for you but does consuming sugar/carbohydrate-free alcoholic drinks truly affect a candida diet?

-You need to repair your body and not destroy it.

-It damages your liver/kidneys which are the organs that detox toxins from your body. If this ability becomes impaired then you’ll feel bad and develop health problems potentially. For instance one thing that could happen is you get bad die-off after taking antifungals.

    – Alcohol can lead to addiction.
    – Alcohol causes neurological damage.
-> Look for other drugs that are not addictive/damaging (like most psychedelics).
