    Hey Forum,

I know there is a test out there that helps determine if you have Candida, but I was wondering what type of doctor is able to perform tests to determine if you have candida.

    Thanks,

I would consult a naturopathic doctor first and then a GI doctor or allergist second. The GI doctor could do a stool test and an allergist can test to see whether you are allergic to candida (IGA, IGG, IGM testing). If you are allergic to like 50+ food items then they could diagnose you with intestinal inflammation, etc.

However you could take the candia5 test at home and its pretty cheap…
