I have never had a sinus problem until now. I think I am getting allergic to chamomile and after drinking it today, my ears feel completely clogged and I can’t hear very well. It feels like water is stuck in my ear canal. It kinda gives me a headache. Any advice would be appreciated, first time its ever happened.

I’ve had the same problem recently. Bernie is sending me something to help. Said it’s an infection of the addenoids. Once my pack comes from him, I’ll let you know exactly what’s in it. I know he wants me to do a nose wash with kosher salt.
My issue started totally randomly and when I saw a nurse at minute clinic they said all looked normal. Good ole modern medicine!
I don’t see how chamomile would cause a reaction though. Seems safe and is antifungal. Could it be something else you ate?August 30, 2014 at 11:15 am #120916

My specialist sprayed some topida spray in my ear and said it might help, he also recommended i buy it and apply it to my anus [but not my ear again so maybe to much is unsafe].
My ears do feel much better but still not 100%.August 30, 2014 at 1:26 pm #120917
I’ve had my adenoids removed, so I know that isn’t my problem!
Well I might do a salt/saline solution or something if it persists…

I was going to chime in here because I have problems with allergies/sinuses from time to time, especially if cheat or something. Bernie had some cheap homeopathetics that I take that really help me, and it clears up. I feel no need to take that nasty over-the-counter stuff at all. Let me look at them later, when I get a chance, as I don’t know just sitting here right now. Finally, biggest thing that helps is a nasal flush.September 2, 2014 at 2:38 pm #120962
Update: I put some hydrogen peroxide in my ears and it relieved it some that night. Then I went over a hill and the pressure change relieved it temporarily. The next day I woke up and it was gone. So it lasted only 3 days for me. I have to work today so will see whether chamomile caused it again.

glad you are doing better! my ears are still slightly clogged, but it’s not really too noticeable. Those nose flushes are HORRIBLE. it’s like being in a pool and getting water up your nose. I can’t stand it. Also, it makes my nose bleed. I can’t get through the full 1/4 cup like he wants me to. Ugh.
