Does anyone else notice their candida symptoms get worse in a stressful situation? I had an argument recently and noticed during and especially after, all of my symptoms were so bad (dizzy, sinus pressure, brain fog, anxiety etc) I had to lay down after! I was never like this before, when I got into arguments in the past I would get upset but then calm down quickly and get past it. Has anyone else experienced this? Know the reason why this happens?

    Thanks!

    Positive energy, peace and blessings!

I can certainly relate to the feelings you have when you are stressed. I don’t know really what the answer is either.

I have rashes all over my body by two thirds from candida and when I am stressed it all itches like crazy, maybe it’s something to our body’s nerves response to situations.

it’s a hard thing to shift though isn’t it, easy to get candida really but hard to rid off. Especially if you have a sweet tooth lol.

Were you cutting out a lot of things from you diet at the same time as the argument?

Hope you are feeling better today x

For the past few months (before candida diagnoses) I have been eating super healthy. I don’t drink anything except water to begin with, but I was consuming lots of candida ‘no nos’ like fruit, wheat, oats etc. So I wasn’t following a candida friendly diet. I have an appointment with a team of specialists on Wednesday, they focus on alternative medicine and will fully evaluate me. Then they will put me on a strict regimen to rid my candida.

I actually have a rash all over my back and it itches like crazy after I shower.

Thanks for responding back! Nice to know it’s not just me going nuts. I was thinking about this after I posted, and I’m thinking maybe with stress you immune system weakens and leaves you open for symptoms?

So interesting how badly this can effect your entire body and quality of life :-

How strange, mine is crappie after a shower also, to the point it’s not at all enjoyable, also at night is your itching bad?

I have been in the menopause two years so it is hard to know if the night sweats are menopause related or candida.

I think stress is a wierd thing that does a lot of damage to us don’t you think, just as much as physical or if not more so.

I suppose the fruits are full of sugar and the wheat is bad as well, I think what can I eat most days. Like you pre oral thrush I was eating tons of fruit and smoothies, and weetabix. I think these caused a lot of my problems.

I think who you are seeing sounds like they can really help you, I think it makes a heck of a difference when someone with experience comes up with encouraging regime to help you beat it.

I will keep reading your posts xx

Is your water chlorinated? If so, try showering somewhere where they have a whole-house water filter and see if you notice the difference.

You might also consider switching your laundry detergent to a more natural brand if you are itching at night.
