1 large ripe avocado 1 tsp coarse sea salt 1 lime (juice) 1/2 normal sized onion 2 jalepenos 1 small garlic clove (or 1/2 regular sized) 1/3 poblano pepper (or 1/4 green bell pepper) Bunch of fresh cilantro
The easiest way to make this is if you have a small processor/blender, but you can also just chop everything finely and mash together. A large wooden spoon would work well mashing the avocado. The most important thing is a ripe avocado!
A tip for juicing the lime (this works for lemons too) is to roll it against your counter/cutting board back and forth, pressing it firmly with your palm, before you cut it and juice it.
Also, keep the avocado pit and put in the bowl or container and cover with plastic wrap or lid when you store your guacamole in the fridge – it keeps everything from turning brown from oxidation!
