soy protein isolate, ok or no?

    eating only veggies and eggs it hard to get enough protein. so i bought this protein powder. the brand name is “now sports” the protein is (non-gmo soy protein isolate) i know soy is a no go on the diet but wondered if this is an exception. the label says it contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.
