Here are a few bread recipes for ya’ll. The measurements are approximate.
Lemony Garlic bread
1 1/2 cups coconut flour 1/2 cup buckwheat flour 1/4 cup lemon juice 8 eggs 1 can coconut milk 3-4 big cloves garlic 2 tsp baking powder 1-2 tsp salt stevia to taste (only use a little bit)
Preheat oven to 350, and cook until the center isn’t gooey! It seems the temperatures on the oven I have been using are not quite right so do your best to figure out temp and time. I also chopped up some garlic to put on top of the bread and it added a nice touch.
Rosemary Garlic and Onion bread
1 1/2 cups coconut flour 1/2 cup buckwheat flour 1/4 cup lemon juice 8 eggs 1 can coconut milk 3-4 big cloves garlic 1 onion lots of rosemary… probably 2-3 tbs 2 tbs apple cider vinegar 1-2 tsp salt optional: pinch of stevia
This morning I enjoyed an egg sandwich with the lemony garlic bread. IT WAS AWESOME. I recommend heating up a slice of the bread on a skillet (the bread is pretty crumbly so a toaster probably wouldn’t work well) with butter or oil, and spreading either pesto or butter on top, with a slice of tomato (if you’re eating tomatoes) and a boiled or fried egg on top. Best candida-free breakfast yet, and I’ve been on the diet for four months. ENJOY!
