Simple Ways to Detox Every Day
The forum’s Simple & Safe Cleanse/Detox is part of our protocol, but there are other very simple ways to continue detoxing your body throughout the treatment. Detoxing often in small ways is an excellent way to keep the Candida aldehyde toxins as well as other environmental toxins moving out of your body. The examples below are not time consuming and do not require a list of ingredients.
(1) Move It
Simple, easy, and moderate exercise done on a regular basis will continually keep your lymphatic system moving and releasing stored toxins; moving also increases circulation and all of this improves the immune system. Moving also helps to release physical, emotional, and psychological energies which can leave us feeling ‘stuck’ in a particular life situation. Walking just 15 minutes a day has proven to have strong benefits as far as detoxing the body is concerned as well as your overall health.
Dehydration causes inflammation and oxidative stress which increases toxicity of the body. Drinking a pure source of water throughout the day will constantly flush toxins from your organs and even your muscle tissue. In addition, water helps all other natural functions of the body to operate more efficiently.
Believe it or not, meditation is a form of detoxing the body. In today’s world, everyone experiences stress at one time or another if not all the time. Stress is a toxin to the human body because it lowers the immune system’s response, puts a heavy strain on the adrenal glands, and promotes inflammation and sugar imbalances, and creates oxidative stress. Other problems caused or affected by stress are cardiovascular disease, pain, anxiety, depression, memory, and sleep.
Meditating for only 5 to 10 minutes a day can lower your stress level according to research studies. And meditation isn’t as difficult as many people believe it to be; simply sit very still and quiet for up to 5/10 minutes or more depending on what you feel comfortable with. Focus your attention on your breathing and on a particular object such as a stone or even a spot on the wall or on a tree or a clound if you’re outside. As a thought enters your mind, simply replace it with the breath you’re taking at that time while staring at the stone or spot. This is something that becomes easier with time; the more you do it, the more you look forward to doing it, and the easier it becomes.
