As far as seeds go on the Candida diet, I usually put sunflower kernals, poppy seeds, sesame seeds with my yoghurt for a snack, but not sure if these seeds are even allowed? They’re low on carbs and sugar so I don’t see any reason to ignore them?

I’m asking this and if other seeds are allowed too as they aren’t listed on the site.

    Cheers

Sunflower seeds are listed on the “allowed” list.

I have read where some people say that sesame seeds can get moldy… and its not always about carbs but about mold that triggers the candida. This might be remedied by toasting them first?

Oh right. Maybe I’ll just add the seeds in small amounts then.

My understanding of nuts and seeds is to limit the nuts but always soak them and dehydrate because our bodies don’t digest seeds or nuts well. I noticed my gall bladder rarely gives me pain when I eat seeds this way. I buy raw organic seeds and nuts. I think they taste better as well
