I take (2) 300mg capsules of Red Yeast Rice daily for high cholesterol. I take 2 tablespoons of 100% Brewers Yeast every morning. Brewers Yeast is an excellent source of natural B vitamins and has high fiber content.
Since they have “yeast” in their name, does anyone know with certainty if either of both of these products contribute to Candida? Or is safe to continue using?
I think it depends on whether or not YOUR immune system reacts to yeast. Some people have issues with it, some don’t. Eating yeast, doesn’t feed yeast, but it can contribute to immune reactions.
FYI (for anyone interested) I have been off of the forums to educate myself on candida, I am reading Trowbridge, Crook, journal publications, etc,. There are many books and publications on this topic that I wanted to learn from.
