Week 1: Super milk thistle (2 capsules 2x per day) (licorice, milk thistle, dandelion, artichoke)
Week 2: Taraxacum (2 pills 2x per day) (aka dandelion root/leaf)
Week 3: Artichoke drops (30 drops 2x per day)
Week 4: Urtica (2 pills 2x per day) (aka nettle leaf)
Rotate back to week 1 and finish rest of pill containers until empty and rotate 2nd time if needed.
This liver cleanse should be done later in your treatment as a “mop up” to the damage candida caused. If you do this liver cleanse early in your treatment, it might not do anything significant because candida can damage it again.
I will provide links shortly to places where you can find these supplements and will include more information.
Take the liver supplements between meals and don’t take it in evening.

My symptoms are better than before, but I did have a flare this month. I’m 6 months in on the diet, and am planning on taking your suggestions of a higher probiotic and prebiotics. I am going to get them today. Do you think it is still to early for me to do the liver cleanse?
ThanksMay 22, 2012 at 8:28 am #82634
I would do the liver cleanse when you are long over die-off symptoms and are a few months into being “almost symptom free.” Leaky gut should mostly be healed and candida is mostly under control. This can vary person to person; this should hopefully happen to most people between the 6-12 month mark.

I wanted to bump because I included links to products and its a great thing to do 6 months in to your treatment or so…
I use the eclectic institute brand products for 2 of them.

Why should the supplements be taken in between meals and not with a meal?
