    Hi Guys

I have 2 different curry powders and both contain the following

Coriander seed, salt, tumeric, ginger, cumin, fenugreek, mustard seed, garlic powder, allspice, cayenne pepper and black pepper.

Will this be ok to use for the lamb curry recipe on this site? I am also on stage 1 of the diet?

    Many Thanks

    J

I would be concerned about how spicy these items are. Spicy foods are not allowed because they cause mucus production and have more drawbacks than benefits. Also, the salt might contain morton’s table salt, which is converted to dextrose (a sugar). If it was made out of sea salt or a natural salt, this would be best.
