This whole thing is just a bit overwhelming to me. I had the cracks in the corners of my mouth, thrush in my mouth. Went straight to Whole Foods, got some teatree cinnamon toothpaste by healthy mouth, and a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide rinse. The mouth symptoms went away just with that. But I also had light headaches recently, and I had to take an H2 blocker following antibiotic previously. I know I did not do enough probiotic with that, so here I am. No vaginal yeast. Sooooo…I got the single dose diflucan and took that. Started in on NO NO NO NO sugar or sugar alchohols, etc. of ANY kind, neurotically reading, reading, reading, and growing more and more confused. I ate 65% vegs (thank goodness for the occasional avocado) and 20% protein for two weeks. Switched to stevia for when I had to have sugar, got on Align probiotic, also added a good Whole Foods recommended multivitamin. I am not currently having to do the H2Blocker any more. So, since my symptoms are gone after two weeks, am I now on phase 2 or 3? I think it was a light case. I also just had an upper GI and there was no yeast there in endoscopic exam. So, now what? I am not hungry much any more, but I WANT to eat SOME meat, fish, eggs, yogurt, and am really wanting something like a tortilla that I can wrap veggies up in to eat them. I also make my own mayonaisse now with a recipe that has 1 egg, olive oil, lemons, and salt in it. That helps with giving me something to make a salad with other than just olive oil all the time. I eat a LOT of onions, radishes, garlic. What can I now add? and what phase am I on now?? I’m baffled by how much conflicting information there is on food lists and how conflicting they are. Top it off that my husband is NOT on this diet and does not want to be. It’s expensive! help me from neurosing over everything I put in my mouth…is it on this list or that list…etc. Also, can i now eat brown rice?
