Hi. I’m new to this forum and am about to start the candida diet. I was wondering if organic decaf tea is allowed on the diet.

All coffee’s contain mold and thus feed the candida. Decaffeinated coffee still has small amounts of caffeine which can cause leaky gut and isn’t good for the diet. A great alternative would be to use chickory coffee which has prebiotic properties or chamomile tea. Chamomile tea aids the digestion and if you steep it longer the 8 mins, it will give you energy similar to caffeine.

    Ok, thanks.

What about decaf tea, especially organic decaf tea?

Same as decaf coffee…I’d go with a herbal tea.
