We had our son’s results back and it was noted as high for Arabinose. The normal value is less than 20 mmol/mol and he was at 45. We are not sure how extreme that result is off of normal. How concerned should we be. We are trying to resolve mood and rash symptoms and all other paths have come up empty so we are working on candida as a possible cause. Appreciate any feedback
Arabinose is certainly a marker for Candida overgrowth. And that does seem quite high vs the normal value. Have you tried a comprehensive stool analysis? And have you implemented any changes to his diet?
