Hi I just signed up, I love your book and hoping for some nice recipes to improve my diet.
my symptoms – chronic fatigue, fogginess, weariness, memory loss, poor sleep, altered (loose) bowel habit, bloating, cramps, thrush twice this year, used Augmentin antibiotic two – three times for sinusitis, ages ago remember growing candida on a stool culture. I guess candida very likely then.
Also always craving sugar…. So doing no sugar Febfast this month and finding it hard! Am 57kg so no need to lose weight, rather aiming to ‘bulk up’
My question, please:
I exercise intensely. Need 100g protein and ideally 300g carbs a day.
How will I get this during the 9 weeks detox/ food restriction?(I barely manage to eat enough as it is) Also are pulses (beans, lentils) acceptable? What shall I do about carbs (essential for muscle recovery and energy) during this time?
