Hi everyone. So, I have had all the hallmark symptoms of Candida infection for many years now, they are as follows: blurred vision, tingly fingers and toes, lethargic, heart palpitations( which have recently worsened) foggy brain, constant ear ache, Migrane, bloating, constipation/diarrea, sleep issues, depression. After constant trips to the Doctor and many tests, with no answers except “your tired from being a Mum” and “it’s all in your head, your depressed” I finally discovered Candidasis infestation after many hours/days/weeks investigating my symptoms. Now, up until 3 days ago ( when the penny dropped ) I was drinking a bottle of wine a day to cope with the pains, and my diet was VERY POOR, lots if coffe with sugar, meat and potatoes, takeaway food. I have since ceased drinking and have started eating only green chopped salad, and boiled eggs, but this has made me practically bedridden and I spent the past two nights having delirious episodes and insomnia from terrible heart palpitations. The remedies I have access to are Milky thistle, 1000mg vitaminC, Epsom salt and olive oil (for constipation) and Charcoal tablets. I have an appointment with a specialist tomorrow evening ( which I have no idea the treatment plan will be) I am currently terrified as I read mortality rates are high for severe Candidasis infection, and I wonder if, because my body is so toxic, will it be able to cope with releasing the Candiasis die-off ? The Candidasis has been in my body for many years, on top of me not treating it very well…Am I doomed? What do I need to tell the specialist when I see him? Any help and advice is extremely appreciated. Thank you all!May 15, 2013 at 5:13 am #104533
PS. I cannot thank Able enough for his incredible advice and support! I’d be completely lost without it. Thank you Able!!!!May 15, 2013 at 5:24 am #104534
Sorry, ALSO, I’ve been drinking Peppermint tea, is that ok?May 15, 2013 at 5:43 am #104535
I wouldn’t take charcoal. I’d take molydernum chilate. Have you read ables protocol? You will feel very weak once you start eating the diet. That’s normal and your body will adjust. Are you taking probiotics or antifungals? Since it seems you are heavily infested I would take everything slow. Tanning, taking Epsom salt baths and the molydernum will help deal with the toxins off die off. But once the die off subsides you know your on the right trackMay 15, 2013 at 6:07 am #104539
I’m in Australia, and will have to ship from the US for Molebynum, and am finding it hard to track down a lot of other things ( especially as I’m too weak to shop) basically I get what my partner runs out and gets me, I’ve already wasted hundreds on “candida pills” at the Health food shop that Able told me are pretty pointless. I’m just trying to cope with the detox from stopping food and wine, then will concentrate on the full protocol when I’m strong enough.May 15, 2013 at 6:36 am #104542
I get most of my supplement from amazon.com, idk if they deliver by you. The die off sucks but you know your not crazy an you are suffering from yeast overgrowth. It’s a journey but your not aloneMay 15, 2013 at 6:36 am #104543
PS. SHOULD I be taking prebiotics at this point?May 15, 2013 at 8:48 am #104547

The candida connection has been something I was aware of for a while.
But I still drunk wine.
Maybe a bottle a week or so.
Just recently I went to a naturopath, because all my diet and supplement efforts didn’t better my condition at all.
Now I realize how important it is to do the diet 100%, and I do it. No more wine, no more little cheats.
Just by stopping to drink wine and doing the diet You will get better a lot, but it might take time because You are so sick.
My naturopath hasn’t put me on antifungals so far and I started with her in march.
Probiotics are okay, but You might want to take it easy on the antifungals at first.
