This topic contains 3 replies, has 3 voices, and was last updated by yisucks 4 years, 8 months ago.
Hi,
I just got kefir grains, and realized my organic whole milk is ULTRA PASTURIZED. IS that what I want or do I want unpasturized?? I can’t recall
Ideally you want unpasturised (raw) if you can find it, failing that get organic. This is what I have heard to be most favourable to least favourable:
Raw Goat (most favourable)
Raw Sheep
Raw Cow
Organic Goat
Organic Sheep
Organic Cow (least favourable)
just testing
Got it…yeah, I’ll probably need to go to a higher end store than my local stop and shop to find…where do you guys get your milk??
