I’m wondering if anyone has tried using the low g.i. diet for treatment of candida. Would the levels associated with the foods apply to yeast/sugar connection also? I’ve been plagued on and off since childhood with rashes, excema, rosacea, yeast infections, etc. Decided to tackle it again. Tired of itching!
I’ve been on the low GI diet since March, and I would recommend it to anyone. It’s great for overall health, and I plan to keep it as a lifestyle. However, even with eating low GI carbs, I have had recurrent yeast infections. So, in my experience, while great for general health, low GI foods don’t eradicate yeast infections.
