I’m sorry hope, I was busy and did not have the time to answer although I had this post open in my browser for days and just could not get to it. Now I am catching up as I have a sleepless night caused by a flood in my laundry room which broke my sleep, sigh!

I never consumed the milk I used to store my grains in. Probably you could drink it, but it was much too sour for my taste and I could not handle it. If you don’t mind the taste, you can drink it. It’s a small amount you use, you would just cover the grains with milk and pour about centimeter over it, so it was not that much of a waste.

    Hope this helps!
