I just ordered some online (this is where my confusion starts as I’m living in a country where I don’t speak the language and not everything is google translatable). My package just arrived and the directions don’t say to strain the kefir but to keep 2 Tblsps out for the next batch. It also says that this is only good for 15 batches. So my questions are: Have I purchased another powder pack? Is there any way to grow this into grains that I can reuse? No, you can’t make the powder into grains. The powder is some laboratory version of the real plant kefir. It’s likely that the powder may not be as beneficial as the grain. I wonder if this is why commercial is not as good as homemade. Ebay turned out to be the best source for kefir grains in the EU. ~thank alexgalgebraAuthor Posts Viewing 2 posts - 1 through 2 (of 2 total)The topic ‘Kefir Confusion Powder vs. Grains’ is closed to new replies.
