Hi, everybody, I’m currently in stage 2 of the Candida diet and was wondering whether eating white rice was okay. On the website, it listed “wild rice” as okay but never mentioned anything about white rice.

    Thanks.

White rice feeds Candida. White rice is just processed rice where all the fiber is removed and thus spikes your blood sugar (high GI) allowing Candida to thrive. Wild rice does contain fiber and helps clean you intestines so it might help.

Really? That sucks. I’ve been eating nothing but white rice the past week, thinking that it was harmless.

This really sets me back big time. Thanks for letting me know.
