After trying to attempt lactoferrin several times, I still do not agree with it. I know the forum protocol recommends this supplement if you are iron deficient as it will not benefit the candida; however, I really think that the milk (whey) does not agree with me (even in the smallest amounts). I already knew whey did not agree with my in food and drinks, and I def. felt better eliminating that. Also, I know casein (milk derivatives do not agree). I really feel better just eliminating lactose completely!!!!

So, does anyone have any recommendations on good iron supplements? I have considered these because thorne is a good company.

(this one might be good because I need the folate and b12 everyday)

(this one is just plain iron)

I thought maybe taking the iron pill just every other day as to give my body a break, and the other days, I just take a basic 100% b-complex to maintain. I don’t want to overdue do it, which I know I have done before!

Hope to hear from all soon on your inputs! =)

From what I know, iron feeds candida, but the lactoferrin doesn’t.
