I am wondering if inactive yeasts are okay to consume during this diet. I am aware that baker’s yeast is off limits, and brewer’s yeast as well (not sure if that is active or inactive). I am primarily interested in nutritional yeast, which is an inactive yeast. Does anyone know if that is okay, and if not, when it can be reintroduced?
    Thanks!

I just did a bit of searching and it appears that some may disagree, but nutritional yeast does not contribute to candida problems. It is a different species of yeast, and it is not alive. I think I will wait to reintroduce it since I am cleansing, but I feel comfortable including it at that point.
    Thanks!
